Stepping Up – Mens Book Study | Tue, Sept 18 through Nov 20, 6:00-8:00pm
We meet on Tuesday at 6pm in Room 206. Our class begins the following week. Today, more than ever, the world needs godly men. Men who will step up and courageously lead at home, at church, at work, and in their communities. That’s the message of Stepping Up. In a world where too many men are shrinking back, Stepping Up gives men vision and tools to live godly, courageous lives.

Pastoral Care Team
Our Pastoral Care Team cares for people who are hurting in our River Valley family. We aim to show up when there is a crisis or need and come prepared to listen and pray. We visit those who are sick, meet with those who are hurting, and encourage with scripture and prayer. People from our team are available to pray with you during Sunday services.
Training is required. If you would like more information, please contact Christine Mester, email@example.com
SS Hope (Send Someone Hope) cares for the physical and practical needs of our church family. The needs vary depending on circumstances, but we often make meals for those who are sick, do light house cleaning for those who are overwhelmed, and provide care packages for those in the hospital. These services and more are given in the love of Christ to give hope during difficult circumstances.
SS Hope team meets once a month for planning and updates. Anyone is welcome, but attendance is not required. We can simply add your email address to our mailing list if you would like to periodically help with needs that arise.
To join our group or to make us aware of a need in our church family, please email Julie at SSHope@rivervally.net
Cancer Care Support Group
If you are touched by cancer in any way: suffering, care giver, or compassionate supporter, please join us as we fight the battle together—our chances are far better together than alone and in isolation.
We meet on the second Tuesday of every month at 6:30pm. We meet offsite.
